Fertilisers Grain Report A short and relatively quiet week in the markets
was ignited on Thursday night by a forecast plantings report that with lower than expected
soybean and corn acreage intentions in the US. This was balanced by higher stocks than
guesstimates, but values still climbed 2.6% on the last trading day of March.
Australian eyes are turning skyward as we near the opening of the winter crop planting
window. The first 3 months of 2018 have delivered adequate moisture in Western Australia and
parts of Queensland. New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia have received below average
