Fertilisers Grain Report The first half of July has seen improved conditions
in Western and South Australia on reasonable rainfall month to date. Totals are still below
long-term average however and as much again will be needed by month end to reach median.
Rain arrived mainly in coastal and alpine Victoria which will not benefit the grain crop. New South Wales is a another story with the northern halfof the state in dire condition and the southern half barely holding on. The forecast out to
the 25th of July is not suggesting any relief. Offshore markets have rebounded off June lows
