Fertilisers Grain Report A good start to August has buoyed prospects
in the big producing areas in the north of Western Australia and South Australia’s Eyre
Peninsula. Moisture has found its way onto the east coast,
with totals received less than 50% of average at the halfway point of the month.
Australian values have pushed into new territory for new crop on drought concerns while global
supplies of wheat are forecast to drop by 15 million metric tonnes on dipping European
fortunes. Despite this news, offshore markets have had a setback, with headline Chicago
