Fertilisers Grain Report This week we’re going to have a look at spot
values versus 12 months ago. The rationale driving the price changes is
clearly evident when you start by looking at the highest prices in the north
and running your eye south and then west as values get cheaper.
16/17’s poor winter crop, followed by equally bad conditions for sorghum, combined with
strong consumption in the feedlot sector, has seen wheat and barley rally in excess
of 35%, with sorghum up around 27%. Canola moves were muted across the country
