Murray State University’s Hutson School
of Agriculture prepares students for careers that impact the world. With 12 degree programs in the areas of agricultural
science, animal and equine science, and veterinary technology and pre-vet medicine, the school
provides a renowned educational experience. Murray State’s faculty are amazing! They’re always willing to give students
personal attention, assist us with research, and keep us engaged with hands on learning
opportunities. Learning in the classroom is a key component
to a good education. But, there’s no better way to learn than
-through hands-on experience. Our students are mentored by knowledgeable
faculty with great farms, laboratories, facilities, utilizing cutting-edge technology. To enhance their college experience, students
can also take advantage of clubs and organizations including Collegiate FFA, the Veterinary Technology/Pre-Vet
club, the Equestrian & Rodeo Teams, the Agribusiness club, Block and Bridle, as well as a social
fraternity and sorority. When your collegiate career ends, your professional
career begins. The Hutson School of Ag has you covered. We have our own career fair, every year. At the Ag Career Fair, the college brings
in a wide variety of companies; regional, local and national. It helps us practice interview skills, gain
internships, and make connections with industry leaders. Murray State’s Hutson School of Agriculture
