Okay. Once you’ve scarified your lawn and
you’ve collected all the debris and you’ve removed it, it’s always quite a good
option to just mow the lawn just to level out any tufty bits which may be
sticking up. Once you’ve done that, you may want to overseed the lawn. Try and
make sure the seed matches the grass that’s already there, and then you might
want to topdress. So any undulations in the lawn or any areas where a lot of moss
is being ripped out…it might be a bit bare…you can just level it off and also
fertilize, looking for something or a fertilizer which is high in nitrogen and
phosphate, and then water the lawn. And water it all in for the
first week, maybe daily.
